In order to boost sales in the market

On April 22, the Vinho Verde will be the subject of a meeting between producers and some major players in the UK market. The meeting will be held in the Portuguese Embassy in London, and the main objective is to stimulate the exchange of ideas with the aim of boosting sales of Vinho Verde in the English market.

The Vinho Verde will be in focus in the UK, between the 21st and 23rd of April in various promotion activities.

Wine tasting session on Tuesday, April 21st, between 11:00 and 16:00, at Hotel du Vin & Bistro in Birmingham.

Around 13:00, the wine tasting session will be conducted by the expert in wines and awarded journalist Sarah Ahmed (selected in 2010 to elect the "50 Great Portuguese wines?).

On April 23rd (Thursday), the wine tasting session of Vinho Verde wines will be in London at The Royal Exchange, between 14.00 and 19.00. Sarah Ahmed will conduct another wine tasting session at 17:00.

This action is not only to promote the Vinho Verde, but as an attempt to improve its presence in international markets increasing, consequently, its sales.
