Vinho Verde on the Portuguese beaches with an Interactive Game

This is an initiative of the Comissão de Viticultura da Região dos Vinhos Verdes (CVRVV) that starts on the 1^st of August and will travel to some of the main beaches (praias) of Portugal. The aim is to develop actions for tasting, while assessing the knowledge of consumers about the Vinho Verde and its characteristics.

A cup, a computer and an interactive game to assess consumer knowledge about the Vinho Verde. This is the starting point for a fun and playful time that will enable consumers of Vinho Verde to demonstrate their capabilities for evaluation of flavor, aroma and other wine characteristics.

This activity includes a program to promote the Vinho Verde in the center and south of the country and follows along with various wine tasting activities. The wine tastings will be conducted at the beach entrance and targets the promotion of white Vinho Verde, Vinho Verde Rosé and the Vinho Verde and Regional Minho sparkling (espumantes) wines.

This initiative will be very informative, offering films of the Vinho Verde Region, access to CVRVV's and Vinhos Verdes Route web portals.
